Managing the columns of a process grid
There are several ways in the v10 application for you to manage the columns displayed in a process grid:
Defining the columns displayed in a process grid
You can define which columns you want to see in a process grid in order to improve visibility or focus more on given data.
To specify which columns should be displayed in a process grid, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a Process in Managing the basic view feature).
Click the Columns button in the process grid toolbar. The "Columns" contextual tool is displayed The tool lists all of the available columns, as illustrated in the following figure (in this example, the "full name" column is frozen):

Toggle the button of the columns that you want to display/hide. Toggle the All Columns button to select/unselect all the columns of the grid.
Click Apply in the lower-left corner of the tool to apply your selection. The tool is closed and the grid is modified according to your choice.
Reordering the columns of a process grid
In order to further customize a process grid and allow you to work exactly according to your preferences, the application offers you the possibility to reorder process grid columns.
To do so, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a Process in Managing the basic view feature).
In the process grid toolbar, click Columns; the "Columns" tool is opened.
Locate the column that you want to move in the list, and then click the
icon located on the left of the column name.
Drag-and-drop the column in the location of your choice in the list of columns.
Repeat the operation for each column that you want to move until you obtain the desired layout.
Click Apply in the lower-left corner of the tool. The tool is closed and the defined column order is applied to the grid.
Freezing columns in a process grid
You can "freeze" one or several columns in a process grid so that, even if the grid contains numerous columns, the frozen columns will remain always visible (non-scrollable), on the left of the grid.
To freeze columns in a process grid, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a Data Grid in About data grids in the v10 Application).
Click Columns in the process grid toolbar. The "Columns" tool is opened.
Locate the column that you want to freeze, and then click the
icon.
Drag-and-drop the column in the frozen column section, located at the top of the tool, as illustrated in the following figure:

Repeat the operation until all the columns you want to freeze are in the section.
Click Apply. The "Columns" tool is closed.
Resizing the columns of a process grid
You can resize the columns of process grids in order to display additional information in the columns of the grid.
To resize columns in a process grid, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a Process in Managing the basic view feature).
Locate, in the grid, the column that you want to resize.
Place the cursor of your mouse on the right border of the column header, until the cursor changes to a double-ended black arrow, as illustrated in the following figure:

Click the border, and then drag-and-drop the cursor until you obtain the desired width. The column is resized immediately.
