Managing the columns of a data grid
There are several options for you to manage the columns displayed in a data grid, especially:
Defining the columns displayed in a data grid
You can define which columns you want to see in a data grid in order to improve visibility or focus more on given data.
To specify which columns should be displayed in a data grid, proceed as follows:
Open the data grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a data grid in About data grids in the v10 Application).
Click the Columns button in the data grid toolbar. The "Columns" contextual window is opened. The tool lists all of the available columns, as illustrated in the following figure:

Reordering the columns of a data grid
In order to further customize a data grid and allow you to work exactly according to your preferences, the application offers you the possibility to reorder data grid columns.
To do so, proceed as follows:
Open the grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a Data Grid in About data grids in the v10 Application).
In the data grid toolbar, click Columns; the "Columns" tool is opened.
Locate the column that you want to move in the list, and then click the
icon located on the left of the column name.
Drag-and-drop the column in the location of your choice in the list of columns.
Repeat the operation for each column that you want to move until you obtain the desired layout.
Click Apply in the lower-left corner of the tool. The tool is closed and the defined column order is applied to the grid.
Freezing columns in a data grid
You can "freeze" one or several columns in a data grid so that, even if the grid contains numerous columns, the frozen columns will remain always visible (non-scrollable), on the left of the grid.
To freeze columns in a data grid, proceed as follows:
Open the data grid in which you want to work (see Viewing a Data Grid in About data grids in the v10 Application).
Click Columns in the data grid toolbar. The "Columns" tool is opened.
Locate the column that you want to freeze, and then click the
icon.
Drag-and-drop the column in the frozen column section, located at the top of the tool, as illustrated in the following figure:
