Administering Advanced Analytics reports (report designer role)
This section details the procedures related to the administration of Advanced Analytics reports such as:
Understanding Advanced Analytics report statuses
The status of an Advanced Analytics report changes according to its current state. When accessing the Advanced Analytics folder, the status of each report is displayed with a specific color in front of the report name.
The following table details the various statuses available for Advanced Analytics reports:

| Shared | A report is in "Shared" status when it has been shared with at least one profile or user. |
| Scheduled | A report is in "Scheduled" status if a sharing period located in the future has been configured. |
| Closed | A report is in "Closed" status when it has been previously shared, but the current date is after the end date of the sharing period. |
Viewing an Advanced Analytics report
To view an Advanced Analytics report, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component, and then click the "Advanced Analytics" folder.
Locate, in the list of reports, the report you want to view (see Searching for an existing Advanced Analytics report ).
Click the tile corresponding to the report in the list. The selected report opens in the application, in "View" mode.
Viewing the properties of an Advanced Analytics report
The properties of an Advanced Analytics report can be viewed at any time in the "Report Properties" panel. This panel is accessible from two locations in the "Advanced Analytics" folder of the "Analysis" component:
It can be directly opened from the list of reports
It can be opened when a report is open for viewing or editing
Regardless of the method you use to open the "Report Properties" panel, the actions that you can perform in the panel (read or edit) depend on your permissions on the report.
To open the "Report Properties" panel from the list of reports, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component and click the Advanced Analytics folder.
Locate, in the list of reports, the report whose properties you want to view.
Hover the cursor of your mouse over the report tile, and then click the
icon located in the far right of the tile. The "Report Properties" panel is opened at the right of the report list.
To view the properties of a report when the report is opened, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component and click the Advanced Analytics folder.
Locate, in the list of reports, the report whose properties you want to view, and then click the tile to open the report.
Click the
icon, located in the upper-right corner of the application window. The "Report Properties" panel is opened at the right of the report.

Editing the contents of an Advanced Analytics report
If your profile has been granted the correct permissions or if you are the owner of an Advanced Analytics report, you can edit the contents of a report.
To edit the contents of an Advanced Analytics report, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component.
Click the Advanced Analytics folder.
Access the report in which you want to perform modifications (see Searching for an existing Advanced Analytics report ).
Click the Edit tab at the top right of the report.
Change the contents of the report content by adding/editing widgets, modifying the layout or editing filters.
Editing the properties of an Advanced Analytics report
Once created, if you are the owner of an Advanced Analytics report or if the report has been shared with you with the "Admin" or "Edit" permission, you can edit some of its properties.
To edit the properties of an Advanced Analytics report, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component, and click the Advanced Analytics folder.
Open the report properties (see Viewing the properties of an Advanced Analytics report).

In the "Report Properties", edit the following parameters:
Name: change the name of the Advanced Analytics report
Description: change the description of the report
Data model: use the drop-down list to change the data model used in the report. Please keep in mind that changing the data model of an existing Advanced Analytics report might break the report.
Report purpose: choose one or more items in the list; you must at least select one item
Filters: toggle the switch to display/hide the filter panel located at the right of the report in View mode
Click Save to confirm your changes.
Cloning an Advanced Analytics report
A cloning functionality is available for Advanced Analytics report if you want to copy the properties of an existing report but change the selected data source for example.
To duplicate an Advanced Analytics report, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component.
Click the Advanced Analytics folder.
Locate, in the list of reports, the report that you want to clone (see Searching for an existing Advanced Analytics report ).
Hover your mouse cursor on the tile corresponding to the report, and then click the
icon, in the far right of the tile. The "Close Report" contextual window is opened, with the same properties as the original report.
In the window, change the required properties. It is recommended that you at least change the name of the report, for clarity purposes.
Click Save. The report is cloned with the modified elements, and it is immediately opened in "Edit" mode.
Sharing an Advanced Analytics report
As the owner of an Advanced Analytics report, you have the possibility to share your report, either with all users belonging to a profile or with specific users. You can choose between three levels of permission that will determine the actions that can be performed by the persons with whom the report is shared, and you can and define one or several availability date range, as required.
To share an existing Advanced Analytics report, proceeds as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component.
Click the "Advanced Analytics" folder.
Locate, in the list of reports, the report that you want to share (see Searching for an existing Advanced Analytics report ).
Click the tile corresponding to the report to open it, and then click Edit in the upper-right corner of the application window to enter the "Edit" mode.
Click the Share button, located at the bottom of the report page. The "Assign Permissions" window is opened, as illustrated in the following figure:

Select one or several profiles and/or users from the drop-down lists (Select Profile and Select User, respectively). You can select simultaneously profiles and individual users. Please note that, if you select a profile and an individual user who has access to this profile, and give two different permissions, the user will then benefit from all the rights of both permissions.

Choose one of the following permission options for each selected profile or user:
Admin: can view, edit, clone, share and delete the report
Edit: can view, edit and clone the report
Read: can view in the module(s) defined as the report purpose
If you want to share the report for a limited time only, define the start and end dates of the sharing period. By default, reports are share from the current date, without an end date. You can limit the period using the end date.
If you want to define another sharing period, with either the same permission or a different permission, click New Permission Date Range. You can then define the new permission and the new dates for that same profile/user.
Click Save. The report is shared to the selected profile(s)/user(s), for the defined time range(s).
Deleting an Advanced Analytics report
Provided that you are the owner of a report or that you have been granted the "Admin" permission on a report, you have the possibility to delete an Advanced Analytics report from the system.
To delete an Advanced Analytics report, proceed as follows:
Open the "Analysis" component, and then click the "Advanced Analytics" folder.
Locate, in the list of reports, the report that you want to delete (see Searching for an existing Advanced Analytics report ).
Hover your cursor of your mouse over the report tile, and then click the
icon, located in the far right of the tile. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Delete. A success message is displayed and the report is deleted from the system.
