Administering views
This section details the procedures related to the administration of views in process grids. When custom views have been created and saved in a process grid, the following actions are available:
Sharing views to profiles
To share a custom view to one or several profile(s), proceed as follows:
Open the grid with which you want to work.
Create a view that you want to share with one or several profile(s) (see Creating a View in Managing the basic view feature).
Click the view management tool in the grid header.
Click the
icon located at the right of the view name that you want to share.
Click the Share View button.
Select one or several profiles to share the view with, as shown in the figure below:

Click outside of the contextual menu to confirm the sharing. The view is now shared to the selected profile(s).
Editing shared views
When a shared view has been modified and saved by an admin user, two saving options are available and described in the below procedure.
To edit a shared view, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid in which you can to work.
Select the view in which you want to perform modifications. Make sure the view has been shared to a profile (see Sharing views to profiles).
Apply customizations to the grid (see Customizing the Process Grid View in Working with process grids).
Open the view management tool in the grid header.
Click the
icon located at the right of the current view name.
Click the Save Changes button. The following contextual window opens:

Choose one of the following saving options:
Save and Push: applies the changes to the view immediately
Save: applies the changes the next time a user selects this view
The view is saved according to the chosen option.
Managing default views
A specific section to manage default views per profiles is available directly in the process grid interface. You can assign a view by default when the view has been previously shared to a given profile.
To assign a default view to an available profile, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid with which you want to work.
Create a view (see Creating a View) or open an existing view (see Changing the Applied View).
Open the view management tool as shown in the figure below:

Click the Manage Default Views button. The following page opens:

Check the box corresponding to the profile to which you want to assign the view as default.
Click Save. The view is applied as default for all users sharing the selected profile(s) after they log out and log in the application again.
Unsharing views to profiles
To unshare a view which has been shared to a given profile, proceed as follows:
Open the process grid in which you want to work.
Open the view management tool in the grid header.
Click the
icon located at the right of the view name that you want to unshare.
Uncheck the box related to the relevant profile(s).
Click outside the profile list to confirm the modification. Users sharing this profile are now longer able to access the view.
