Managing widgets
After having defined the header of the widget homepage, you can proceed to:
Adding a widget
The widget homepage feature enables you to add various types of widgets depending on the type of information that you want to display in the widget homepage and the purpose you want each widget to serve. Widgets are placed in specific areas of the widget homepage depending on their type; this layout is specifically designed to organize the information in a structured way and help end-users quickly identify the purpose of each of them. The layout of the homepage is composed of three columns even placed on the page.
The following table lists the various widgets that you can use to build your widget homepage.

This widget enables you to build a timeline of key dates for your company, for instance as a reminder about deadlines or to keep track of upcoming events. You can create groups and build timelines for different purposes and include a link for each date. It is located in the left-hand column of the widget homepage, immediately under the Company Updates widget. |

To add a widget to a widget homepage, proceed as follows:
Make sure that the widget homepage that you want to configure is opened in edit mode (see Managing widget homepage).
If it is opened, collapse the Header section of the configuration page using the chevron, and then expand the Widgets section.
Click the Add Widget button, located at the right of the widget section header. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select, in the list of available widgets, the widget that you want to add to the widget homepage.
Configure the specific properties of the widget. For more information about the individual properties of each widget, see the links in the table above.
Click Save in the lower-right corner of the application window. The widget is now added to the homepage.
Configuring widgets
The Company Updates widget enables you to give information about your organization in the form of short snippets of text. In addition, you can include an image and a link to an external resource to each of the individual updates.
It is displayed at the top of the widget homepage and spans two columns.
The following table lists the configuration parameters available for the Company Updates widget.

Information Widget
The Information widget enables you to provide additional information about the company or internal processes. You have the possibility to add several pieces of information and to add an image to each chunk of text.
It is placed in the center column of the widget homepage, immediately under the Company Updates widget.

Links Widget
The Links widget enables you to specify company resources outside of the application, such as an intranet, documents or an e-learning platform.

Timeline Widget

Documents Widget
The Documents widget gives end-users quick access to a number of documents available in the My Documents tab of the "Inbox" component. The number of documents and their visibility is determined by a date range.
The Documents widget is located in the right-hand column of the widget homepage.

| Relative Path |
The relative path is the part of the URL corresponding to the place in the application where the link will redirect the user. The format of the relative path is the same for any places in the application, except for process grids. For instance, in the following URL corresponding to a data grid, https://bqm-weu-v10qa1-npr-app.beqom.com/data/2, you must copy/paste everything located after beqom.com/, in this case data/2. For a process grid with the following URL https://bqm-weu-v10qa1-npr-app.beqom.com/processes/hierarchy/1/node/30-0-14-30/plan/6, only plan/6 must be entered. |
| Description | If required, enter additional information about the deep link in this field. For instance, the purpose of the link or the name of the location to which end-users will be directed. |
Pie Chart Widget
The Pie Chart widget enables you to create a pie chart based on specific field values from a synchronized table or view. The widget offers customizable options such as adding a color theme, groups or links.
The widget is located in the left-hand column of the widget homepage, under the Company Updates widget. A maximum of two Pie Chart widgets can be configured in a widget homepage.

| Category | Select a string type column from the data source to display the segment names of the pie chart. |
| Value | Select a numeric type column from the data source to display the value of the segments that you are interested in for the pie chart.. When the pie chart has more than 8 segments, the last segment is displayed as "Others" with the number of additional segments displayed on hover. |
| Category Description | This optional field enables you to display a tooltip when hovering the pie chart segments. |
| Currency | This optional field enables you to select a column from the data source as the currency type for each value of the pie chart. |

| Color Palette |
Customize the color palette of the pie chart by selecting a color range between Ocean, Forest, Orchard or Volcano. The default color palette is Ocean. You can visualize each color palette on the mini pie chart displayed on the right. |

Large Table Widget
With the Large Table Widget, you can display information coming from a data source in a table format with up to 8 columns to which a deep link can be configured.
The widget spans two columns in the left-hand side of the widget homepage. A maximum of two Large Table Widget can be configured in a widget homepage.

Small Table Widget
The Small Table Widget enables you to display information coming from a data source in a table format with up to 4 columns to which a deep link can be configured.
The widget spans one column in the left-hand side of the widget homepage. A maximum of two Small Table Widget can be configured in a widget homepage.
The following table lists the configuration parameters available for the Small Table Widget.

Enables you to specify whether the title of the widget should be displayed in the widget homepage or not. This option is enabled by default. |
| Use Custom Widget Title |
Enables you to specify whether or not you want to use a custom title for the widget. If the toggle is off, then the default title of the widget, "Small Table Widget" will be used in the widget homepage. If you toggle the custom title on, then an additional field, Widget Title, that enables you to enter the title of your choice is displayed underneath the toggle. |

| Data Source | Select the data source on which the table will be based. Only tables and views containing the idUser and idProfile fields are available. |
| Filter Option | Chose a filter option between User only (the data is filtered by user permission), Profile only (the data is filtered by profile permission) or User and Profile (the data is filtered by user and profile permissions). |
| Start Date | Date from which the table will be visible in the Small Table Widget of the widget homepage. |
| End Date | Date after which the table will no longer be visible in the Small Table Widget of the widget homepage. |

| Field | Select a column in the list of available columns from the selected data source. |
| Position | When the widget contains more than 1 column, you can chose the display order of the column in the table. |
| Label | Enter a custom name for the column. By default, the column name displayed in the widget is the one configured in the data source. |
| Hyperlink Column | If you toggle this parameter on, then an additional field, Hyperlink Display Field, that enables you to chose a column and make all fields of the current column as hyperlinks is displayed underneath the toggle. |
| Hyperlink Display Field | Select a column as the hyperlink to redirect users to when clicking the fields of the current column. |

| Sort Field | Apply a sort on the table based on a field from the data source. |
| Sort Direction | When a sort field is selected, you can chose the sort direction between Ascending or Descending. |
| Group Field | Apply a group sort on the table based on a field from the data source. |
| Group Label | Enter a label to rename the field used as the group sort. |
| Refresh Date | When selected, the date of the last refresh of the data source data is displayed under the widget name (e.g. "Last refreshed on 2023/10/25"). |
| Deep Link Name | Chose a name for the deep link displayed at the bottom-right of the Small Table Widget which will redirect users to the location selected in the Relative Path field. |
| Relative Path |
The relative path is the part of the URL corresponding to the place in the application where the link will redirect the user. The format of the relative path is the same for any places in the application, except for process grids. For instance, in the following URL corresponding to a data grid, https://bqm-weu-v10qa1-npr-app.beqom.com/data/2, you must copy/paste everything located after beqom.com/, in this case data/2. For a process grid with the following URL https://bqm-weu-v10qa1-npr-app.beqom.com/processes/hierarchy/1/node/30-0-14-30/plan/6, only plan/6 must be entered. |
Deleting a Widget
You can at any time remove a widget from a widget homepage. To do so, proceed as follows:
Make sure that the widget homepage that you want to configure is opened in edit mode (see Managing widget homepage).
If it is opened, collapse the Header section of the configuration page using the chevron, and then expand the Widgets section.
Locate the widget that you want to delete.
Click the
icon located in the upper-right corner of the box corresponding to the widget. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Delete to confirm. The widget is removed from the widget homepage.
