Web App: Attached Objects Visibility Issue in Process Grids The following incorrect behavior was reported in the beqom Web App: if users with the correct permissions granted to their profile enabled or disabled the "Workflow Comment History in Process" Feature Flag, if some attached reports were configured in multiple process grids, they were unexpectedly hidden. Investigations of the issue revealed that if several processes shared the same configuration and had the same report(s) attached, the application was overriding the report(s) visibility configuration and led to display issues. The issue has been fixed by modifying the attached object synchronization method; from now on the application separately handles the attached objects visibility based on component rights from the attached objects visibility based on process configuration. DB: new obj.bqm_object_relation_access table Impact area: Process > Attached objects visibility | |
Web App: Drop-Down List Refresh Issue in process grids after Manual Value Addition The following issue was reported in the Web App: when working in a process grid in which a filter was applied to a drop-down column, if a value was manually added to that drop-down via the database, the new value was correctly updated in the grid. However if the value was removed, the drop-down was not correctly updated after using the grid refresh button. The issue has been corrected by introducing a new parameter which will enable the correct grid refresh after manually adding and removing values in drop-down lists via the database. DB: new load_list_on_demand column in k_m_plans table; API: new loadListOnDemand property in GET api/PocessExplorer/GetProcessGrid Impact area: Process > Drop-down refresh after adding items via database | |
Web App: Custom Localization Issue in Forms When working in the beqom configured in German language, if users inserted a custom localization key containing a bullet list in a "Short Text", "Long Text" or "Information Field" form block description, the bullet list was incorrectly displayed. The issue has been corrected; custom localization keys containing bullet lists are now correctly displayed in the mentioned form block types in the Web App configured in German language. In addition, users can now add several localization keys in the description field. Impact area: Forms > Bullet list display in blocks via custom localization keys | |
Application Security Improvement With this new hotfix package, the overall security of the beqom application has been improved. Impact area: Application security | |
Web App: Pipelines and Builds Optimization As of this hotfix package, when working with the beqom using all supported web browsers except Internet Explorer, pipeline runs and application builds have been optimized by splitting the application JavaScript bundle into three different files and thus slightly improve the application performances. This is the first phase of the optimization plan scheduled by beqom. This is an note/information message. This improvement has no direct impact on end-users of the application. Impact area: None | |
Localization Update The rps_localization table has been updated in order to make sure that the beqom application is fully localized. Update to the rps_localization table Impact area: None | |
Web App: Improve Feature Flags Activation Mechanism As of this hotfix package, the Feature Flag activation mechanism has been improved. From now on, when a user with the correct permissions enables a Feature Flag, the flag activation script is no longer correlated with the actual user's related permissions. Impact area: Admin > Feature Flag activation | |
Web App: Budget Widget Display Issue in Process Grids The following issue was reported in the beqom Web App: when working in a process grid configured with attached individual planners and the budget widget, if users opened an individual planner and clicked the "Go back to process" button, the budget widget was no longer visible. The issue has been corrected; now the budget widget is displayed as expected after opening an individual planner and going back to the process screen. Impact area: Process > Budget widget display | |
Mobile App: Support Labels Localization in Forms In the previous version of the beqom Mobile App, forms titles and descriptions were not localized when users modified the language of the application. As of this hotfix package, when working with a form assigned to "Mobile" in the Web App, it is now possible to add any technical key using the "#" symbol in the title or description fields in "Short Text" and "Long Text" form blocks as well as in "Information Field" blocks. Both standard and custom localization keys are supported. Impact area: Mobile App: Home and Profile > Form titles and descriptions localization / Web App: Forms > Localization key selection in relevant form fields | |
Mobile App: Forms' Descriptions Display Issue When working in the beqom Mobile App configured with a form with a description attached to a personal dashboard or to the , it was reported that the description of the form was not displayed. The issue has been corrected; now form's descriptions are correctly displayed in the Mobile App. Impact area: Home and Profile > Form description display | |
Webb App: Cannot Enable "Workflow Comment History in Process" Feature Flag The following issue was reported in the beqom Web App: admin users were not able to enable the "Workflow Comment History in Process" Feature Flag due to the amount of required permissions related to attached objects. Indeed users had to enable several different permissions to their profile in the Admin Portal which was not implicit. This issue has been corrected with ticket #58613 of this package and now the extra permissions required to enable this Feature Flag are no longer needed. Impact area: Admin > "Workflow Comment History in Process" Feature Flag activation | |
Web App: Performance Improvements in Process and Data Grids In order to improve the performances when working with process and data grids in the Web App, editable fields input will now be rendered only if users select those specific cells. This is the first phase of the DOM (Document Object Model) improvement plan scheduled by beqom. Impact area: Data and Process > Components performances | |
| #52467/#56903 Web App: Process Display Issue after Using Quick Profile Switching The following issues were reported in the beqom Web Application with the "Quick Profile Switching" Feature Flag enabled: when working in a process grid, if users switched to a profile (using the Quick Profile Switching) which was not sharing the same rights to access that grid, the grid could not be open as expected because of missing permissions. However, if they switched back to the first profile sharing the correct permissions, the grid did not open and an error was displayed. Investigations revealed that the issue was linked with a problem when switching from profiles with different hierarchy security for the same process. The issue has been corrected; now users can correctly switch from different profiles configured with different hierarchy security for a same process grid. Impact area: UserSettings > Process display with Quick Profile Switching | |||
