Condiguring thresholds & the total summary rows in process grids
In process grids, threshold values (maximum and/or minimum) can be defined in indicators fields in order to have a better overview of achievements. When configured with the total summary row, the application displays the sum of the column's values with a specific indicator and color.
Configuring the Total Summary Row
The total summary row is a configurable option which allows to display the total sum of configured numeric fields for a given column in an allocated row above the process grid. In order to be taken into account in the calculation, the fields must be configured with the SUM aggregation type (refer to article Configuring aggregated calculations in process grids).
Configuring Thresholds
The creation of indicator fields with threshold values and the configuration of the process grid are performed in the beqom Admin Portal. When thresholds are configured in the system, the total sum will appear in green, orange or red and with a specific indicator, depending on the threshold configuration and the value entered in the grid fields.
Creating an Indicator Field with Threshold Values
To configure a new process field with threshold values, proceed as follows:
- Go to (Undefined variable: CompoVariables_AP.Design) > Administration > Indicator Fields.
- Click the
button located under the list of available fields and fill in all the mandatory fields following your convenience. - Enable the Show aggregated data parameter.
- Check the Enable Threshold box to enable the following fields:
- Threshold Maximum Value: enter a maximum value for the threshold (e.g. 80 for 80%)
- Threshold Minimum Value: enter a minimum value for the threshold (e.g. 10 for 10%)
- Threshold Comparison Field: choose a reference field for the threshold (must be in the same process)
- Click Save. The new indicator field is created in the system.
Adding the Indicator Field to the Process Grid
The next step is to add the indicator field to the process grid.
To perform this operation, proceed as follows:
- Go to (Undefined variable: CompoVariables_AP.Design) > Process.
- Click the arrow at the left of relevant process and click Indicators.
- In the All Indicators table, locate and drag-and-drop the previously created indicator to the Assigned Indicators table on the left side.
- Click Save. The process grid is now configured with that new column.
Enabling Group Aggregations (Optional)
If you want to enable the calculation of aggregated fields when a group view is applied to the grid, a specific parameter must be enabled.
To enable this option, proceed as follows:
- Go to (Undefined variable: CompoVariables_AP.Design) > Process.
- Click the process grid to which you want to enable grouping aggregation.
- In the "Process Properties" tab, check the Enable Grouping Aggregation box.
- Click Save. The calculation of aggregated fields when a group view is applied to the grid is now enabled.
