Managing report columns
There are several says in the v10 application for you to manage the columns displayed in an ad hoc report:
Defining the columns displayed in an ad hoc report
You can define the columns that you want to see in the ad hoc report in order to improve your visibility on the report or focus more on given data.
To define the columns displayed in an ad hoc report, proceed as follows:
Open the ad hoc report in which you want to work (see Viewing an ad hoc report).
Click the Columns button in the ad hoc report toolbar, located above the report grid. The "Columns" tool is opened. This tool lists all the available columns, as illustrated in the following figure:

Toggle the button of the columns that you want to display/hide:
Toggle the All Columns button to select/unselect all the columns of the grid.
Click Apply in the lower-right corner of the tool to apply your selection. The tool is closed and the grid is modified according to your choice.
Reordering the columns of an ad hoc report
In order to further customize the ad hoc report view and allow you to work exactly according to your preferences, the application offers you the possibility to change the order of the columns in an ad hoc report.
To do so, proceed as follows:
Open the ad hoc report in which you want to work (see Viewing an ad hoc report).
In the report toolbar, click Columns. The "Columns" tool is opened.
Locate the column that you want to move in the list, and then click the
icon, located on the left of the column name.
Drag-and-drop the column in the location of your choice in the list of columns.
Repeat the operation for each column that you want to move, until you obtain the desire report layout.
Click Apply in the lower-left corner of the tool. The tool is closed and the defined column order is applied to the report.
Freezing columns in an ad hoc report
You can "freeze" one or several columns in an ad hoc report so that, even if the grid contains numerous columns, the frozen columns will remain always visible in the report (non-scrollable), on the left of the grid.
To freeze columns in an ad hoc report, proceed as follows:
Open the ad hoc report in which you want to work (see Viewing an ad hoc report).
Click Columns in the report toolbar. The "Columns" tool is opened.
Locate the column that you want to freeze, and then click the
located on the left of the column name.
Drag-and-drop the column, in the frozen column section, at the top of the tool, as illustrated in the following figure (the frozen column section is delimited by the horizontal bar.

Repeat the operation until all the columns you want to freeze are in the section.
Click Apply. The "Columns" tool is closed and your preference is applied to the report.
Resizing the columns of an ad hoc report
You can resize the columns of an ad hoc report in order to display additional information in the columns, or to make more room for other columns.
To resize columns in an ad hoc report, proceed as follows:
Open the ad hoc report in which you want to work (see Viewing an ad hoc report).
Locate, in the report, the column that you want to resize.
Place the cursor of your mouse on the right-hand border of the column header, until the cursor changes to a black, double-ended arrow, as illustrated in the following figure:

Click the border, and the drag-and-drop the cursor until you obtain the desired width for the column. The column is resized immediately.
