Editing an environment Manager Package
Once an environment manager package has been created and items have been added to it, it is possible to edit this package, even if one or several snapshots have been created and pushed to the next environment. A number of edition operations are possible on the package, namely:
Editing the Properties of an environment Manager Package
To edit the properties of an existing environment manager package, proceed as follows.
Open the "Admin" component, and then navigate to Environment Manager > Package Manager in the menu of the component.
Locate, in the list of available packages, the environment manager package that you want to edit.
Open the package property panel by clicking the
icon at the right of the box corresponding to the package. If the package is already opened, click the
located in the far right of the toolbar in the "Package" and "Snapshots" tabs.
Expand the "Package" section of the property panel by clicking the + icon at the left of the label "Properties".

Perform the changes of your choice:
In the Name field, change the name of the package
In the Description field, change the description of the package
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the "Package" section. The new package properties are saved in the system.
Adding More Items to an Environment Manager Package
You can add more items to an existing environment manager package, even if one or several snapshots of the package have already been created.
To add more items to an environment manager package, proceed as follows:
Open the package to which you want to add more items (see Viewing an Existing Package).
Open the "Inventory" tab by clicking Inventory in the upper-right corner of the application window.

Locate, in the list of items, the individual items that you want to add in the package. To facilitate this, you can:
Filtering the list (see Filtering the Item Inventory in Working with the package manager)
Sorting the list (see Sorting the Item Inventory in Working with the package manager)
Use the pagination tool (see Navigating Between the Pages of the Item Inventory in Working with the package manager)
Check the box located in the far left of the row corresponding to each item that you want to add to the package.
Click the Add X to Package button, located in the lower-right of the application window. Selected items are added to the package and removed from the inventory.
Removing Items from an Environment Manager Package
You can remove items from an existing environment manager package, even if one or several snapshots of the package have already been created.
To remove items from an environment manager package, proceed as follows:
Open the package from which you want to remove items (see Viewing an Existing Package).
Open the "Package" tab by clicking Package in the upper-right corner of the application window. The package overview page is displayed.
Locate, in the list of items, the individual items that you want to remove from the package.
Click the
located in the far right of the box corresponding to each item that you want to remove. A success message is displayed and the item(s) are removed from the package.
